Galderma Spirig, the prestigious Swiss firm renowned for its high quality skin and sun care preparations, has again selected Mega Airless dispenser technology, this time for its preservative-free sun care brand Daylong kids SPF 50 lotion, its Daylong ultra face SPF 25 lotion, and for the Actinica Lotion, a highly effective medical device with broad spectrum UV protection. It has been developed especially for people who are at a higher risk than others to develop skin cancer due to UV exposure.
According to Karl Klein, sales manager, Mega Airless, this latest selection of the company’s airless and neutral solutions by Galderma Spirig reinforces the supplier’s core attributes of performance, precision and protection. “Our 10 years of trust with this customer depends on our ability to deliver dispensing solutions that protect their innovative dermatological and dermocosmetic products and deliver very precise dosages,” he said. “This company is renowned for superior products that protect consumers, and makes nearly half of all sun care products sold in Swiss pharmacies. We cannot violate their trust.”
The children’s sun care products use Mega Airless’ 150ml Macro Compact dispenser, the sunscreen in Mega Airless’ 50 ml Mezzo, while the Actinica skin care product uses the Mega Airless 75ml Mezzo.
These latest retail launches, sold in pharmacies, were just introduced and are initially available in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, France and the Netherlands.
Mega Airless’ neutral dispenser design provides complete 360-degree application, exact dosing, highly efficient evacuation and formula stability over the life of the product, without discoloration, clumping or clogging.
Mega Airless’ precision, German-engineered lotion dispensers provide complete neutrality, to protect the formula and extend shelf life. All-plastic design means recyclability that appeals to customers, retailers and today’s end-users. Mega Airless has 25 years of airless experience and 30 patents, for unsurpassed value and performance.
Every Mega Airless dispenser is vacuum-tested inline and delivers precision dosing, quick-priming and 360-degree operation. In addition, Mega Airless’ mix-and-match product family allows customers to customize their dispensing solutions and deliver superior return on investment.

ABOUT MEGA AIRLESS DISPENSING SOLUTIONS
The company’s all-plastic airless dispensers are designed to protect today’s advanced formulations and natural products for facial and skin care and are engineered for full recyclability in conformation with EcoCert, NaTru, Oko-Test and other international labels – increasingly important in many countries throughout the world.
All Mega Airless dispensers are equipped with the company’s exclusive airless pump that offers unsurpassed neutrality, precise and consistent dosage, optimal product recovery and convenient 360-degree operation. They are designed to handle a wide range of viscosities, including the most demanding new formulations used in today’s creams, gels, lotions and pastes.
The 100% plastic airless dispensers are made in one location (mould manufacturing, injection moulding, assembly, decoration), which eliminates complex supply chains and reduces the CO2 impact. In addition, continuous Mega Airless investment in state-of-the-art equipment delivers economic and environmental efficiencies.
